Calla is just one of the 307 animals who came into our care this week. Many of these animals, including Calla, will receive specialized medical care from our Shelter Medicine Team and specialized behavioral enrichment from our Animal Care Team thanks to your support.
We transfer animals like Calla into our care from our friends at our local animal control facilities. We visit them each week and partner together to take in animals who need specialized care.
When Calla entered our shelter on Thursday, she was depressed and suffering from a horrible itchy case of mange.
Your support enabled us to provide her a soothing bath and a warm place to rest. Your support will enable us to find a foster home for her to rest in, to heal in and to receive love in.
